Lake Fork Sportsman's Club
Mission Statement
It is the goal of the Lake Fork
Sportsman’ Club to promote
the safe and responsible use
of firearms for recreational
purposes through youth
education and safety
training. Our environmentally
friendly facility should provide
recreational and training
opportunities for a large
geographical area where
such facilities do not currently
exist. We intend to provide a
safe and friendly environment
where members and their
guests can participate in and
enjoy the many aspects of the
shooting sports.

Welcome to the official website of Lake Fork Sportsman’s
Club. The club is located 3.5 miles NW of Atwood, Il. on
30 acres of farm ground purchased for this specific
purpose. The club was organized in 2002 and officially
opened its gates on January 1st, 2004. It is a private club
owned by its members but memberships are still
available.
The club is a not-for-profit corporation run by a 7 member
board of directors elected by the members.
We have 2 ranges, a 200 yd rifle range with 8 concrete
benches under cover and a 100 yard pistol range with 5
benches under cover at 50 yards. The main and side
berms on the ranges were built according to the specs in
the NRA Range Manual.
We have two traps with lights on one. Both traps are
voice activated.
We have a 1.25 acre stocked pond open to the members
for catch and release only.
We also have a small club house to get in out of the
weather.
Membership dues and stock requirements are listed on
the application which may be downloaded from this site.
